Where we have been

The history of The Village Church began well before any of us joined.

We trace our lineage back to faithful saints who ventured out to the plains of Texas in 1869 to start a new church.

Their legacy impacted a new generation to plant churches all over North Texas, and in 1978, TVC was born. Those who preceded us asked God to do something bigger than themselves, and God invited us into their story.

Since then, we labored together with six services at full capacity, started campuses to expand our impact in the Metroplex, and gave away $60 million in assets and cash for the sake of building up the Church outside our own walls.
